In the Spotlight's West End Experience Workshops' dynamic, inspiring primary schools dance workshops offer a unique experience for your students and are sure to be a highlight of the school calendar.

 

Workshops are led by experienced West End performers with a love for teaching. Content is tailored for each primary Key Stage, introducing creative ways of thinking, moving and working with others.

You can book a West End Experience Workshop based around core curriculum themes:
LITERACY, GEOGRAPHY and PSHE which also link up with key events in the school calendar..

structure of the day 

West End Experience Workshops are designed to reach a full form entry in one day. We bring everything we need for the workshops and work with schools to tailor a timetable to best suit them.

What can you expect?

  • Workshops normally take place in a school hall or gymnasium

  • To start the day, your West End Experience Workshop Leader arrives and presents a full-school assembly with participatory elements 

  • Workshops are presented class-by-class, around 35-40 minutes each

  • Time is given for schools to set up for lunches and breaks in the hall

  • Before the West End Experience Workshop Day, we will send Teacher Resource Packs enhancing the workshop content and taking learning back to the classroom across a range of subjects

  • For schools with more than one form entry, we can arrange two-day visits. Half days are also available.
